A graphic novel memoir of one family's life under the Khmer Rouge

Tian Veasna was born three days after the Khmer Rouge took power, and spent his formative years in forced labour camps as his family were beaten, starved, tortured and murdered. In his graphic novel, Year of the Rabbit, Veasna gives us a ground-level view of what it was like to live under the horrific Pol Pot regime.
