Katrina 10 Years After: A Reading List
Literary Hub has posted a list of books that keep the memory of Katrina alive. Sheri Fink's Five Days At Memorial is one of the most powerful works of nonfiction I have read.
Note: A year and a half after Hurricane Katrina we were lucky enough to adopt a dog who had survived the destruction. Initially terrified and timid Lizzie has turned into a wonderful pet.
