Who Would Win in a Great Literary Bake-Off?
Baked goods often make an appearance in literature but which would win a literary bake-off? Proust’s madeleine would definitely be a contender. What about the baker’s hot cinnamon rolls and black bread from Raymond Carver’s A Small Good Thing? Or the Turkish Delight from C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe?
