J.R.R. Tolkien's Family Home For Sale



JRR Tolkien and his family lived in this house on Northmoor Road, Oxford for 17 years from 1930 to 1947. During his time there, Tolkien worked on both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.  Described as “an important part of Oxford’s history” it is on the market for  £4,575,000.
