Florida school is trying to ban Amanda Gorman's poetry

An elementary school in the Miami-Dade area received a single complaint that youth poet laureate Amanda Gorman’s inspirational poem “The Hill We Climb,” which she read at Joe Biden's inauguration, contained “hate messages.”

The response: the school acted to limit access to the poem.
