My mother read me bedtime stories every night and I loved our special time together. I also read to my sons. However a recent poll of 2,000 mothers with children aged 0-7 years found that only 64% of respondents read their children bedtime stories, even though 91% were themselves read bedtime stories when young. Damn shame this.
